My wife and I had listed our home in Chaska at the beginning of June with another realtor. By the end of
September we had still not had any offers or even a second showing. With the building of our new
home underway, my objective was very clear; get the house sold as soon as possible. Ryan Platzke was
referred to us by someone who had been in a similar situation. This individual had their home listed by
another realtor for over six months before Ryan took over the listing and had the house sold inside of
two weeks. As we approached 120 ‘Days-on-the-Market’, my wife and I decided to give Ryan a shot. The
first thing Ryan did was presented us with very comprehensive data on what comparable homes in our
area were selling for. This included sharing with us the specific comments received during the broker
preview that he hosted. Initially we agreed to try and market the house for a small premium over what
the broker preview suggested. Ryan had our house attractively displayed on the internet using virtual
tour, held several open houses, and communicated with me regularly about the overall activity he was
seeing for home sales at our price point. After 30 days, I asked Ryan if bringing the price in line with
what came back from the broker preview would get the job done. He guaranteed me it would. One
week later our house sold for the new asking price. Overall, the experience we had working with Ryan
was very favorable. Not only does he have a very solid understanding of what it takes to sell a house,
